Omarr Dixon was born in 1974 to Alfred R. Dixon Sr. and Patricia Dixon, as one of five children and grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. He started playing competitive sports as a toddler and continued through high school. Later he was awarded an athletic scholarship to attend North Carolina State University. At N.C. State Omarr was a member of the football team as well as the track and field team. After college graduation he played professional football, signing as a free agent with the Dallas Cowboys. He also went on to compete professionally in track and field and was one of the high jumpers at the 1996 Olympic Trials in Atlanta. Since that time Omarr has been acting and modeling nationally and internationally. He has been featured on several TV shows and movies such as Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns” and HBO’s Recount. Currently he plays the leading role of ‘Jordan’ on the new TV Pilot “Jordan’s River.” He believes in maximizing life and is currently studying to receive his doctorate degree in Pharmacy. Omarr is very thankful for everything in his life.
