Carletta – Patricia Joseph

Patricia was born in St.Croix Virgin Island to Iotha and Samuel Joseph both immigrants from Antigua. She was the fourth child of eight siblings. After her parent‟s divorce, her mother moved to United States for a better life for her children. She settled in Miami, FL. Patricia caught the acting bug after watching her sister play the lead as Peter Pan in an elementary school play. However, after high school, Patricia enrolled at Florida A&M University majoring in Mathematical and Computer Science pursuing a career in computer industry. That acting bug never left, after being inspired by motivational speaker Tony Robinson, Patricia gathered up all those suppressed feeling and fell back in love with her passion. She studied with Marlene Dubios, John D‟Aquino and at FSU. She made her debut in 2004 film “Coochie”. In 2006, her role as Morlerne in the short film “Delivering Louverture” was very to heart as she learned to speak Creole to portray a Haitian immigrant who sacrifices her life to bring her son to America. Recently, Patricia has been cast in several independent films and short films. Most of all, Patricia enjoys developing dramatic roles that inspire people to make it against all odds.
